I don't believe her at all

She does not belong in jail. The detectives should be in jail. What they did was wrong. I don't know if she did it or not but I do not like dirty cops doing what they did. She should get a new trial with all of that thrown out. All of it. That is disgusting.

Throw away people. The girl was poor and Black & the woman was poor old and white. None of them mattered, just closing the case. But this is why Black people need to move out of the South.

All predators on this show have exactly the same thinking pattern and functioning : 1. Selecting a docile and kind teenager on the internet ; 2. Very quickly announcing in the chat what they expect from the teenager ; 3. Being stupid enough to think a virgin boy/girl will fall in love with dirty talk/pictures they send ; 4. Showing up at the house unclean, in very lousy and casual wear (like they do not need to make an effort to seduce a younger one) ; 5. Entering the house all happy and joyful, already fantasizing and looking forward to what they are going to do to the teenager ; 6. Quickly checking around, making sure the teenager is alone at home ; 7. Having no manners and making themselves at home without asking permission, from the first moment on ; 8. Bring along candy (among "other" things), thus further infantilizing the teenager ; 9. Do not chat much with the teenager, instead very quickly move towards action mode ; 10. Then, when they see Chris Hansen, they have this microsecond moment of disappointment : "Oh nooo, so that means no sex tonight..." ; 11. Then they immediately move to "Let's pretend I am not bothered by this, like it is just a friendly casual situation" ; 12. Then the same bs over and over : "I was not going to do anything", "The plan was just to hang around", "This is the first time I am doing this", etc. ; 13. Further deny everything, until Chris reads the transcript to them ; 14. Act in a submissive way towards Chris Hansen, because that is the only human relationship they know : to control and being controlled ; 15. Try to blame the young girl/boy for attracting them and alledgedly almost forcing them to come ; 16. Knowing this was illegal and risky for them, but still the urge was stronger than every possible reasoning ; 17. When asking what lesson they have learnt : not "don't do it", but instead : "do not get caught" ; 18. When arrested, feeling sorry only for themselves and only sorry that they have been caught ; 19. And all throughout the above steps : childish, immature behavior and absolutely NO consideration for the teenager and no conscience of another human being. Only pursuing their filthy thoughts and dirty pleasure.

Pending this on a child and questioning her without an adult…Wow

28-year-old Christopher Spencer was charged with murder in the killing of 19-year-old Bridget Shiel. 2 years after she was found murdered. Police found his DNA on a bottle near her abandoned car. There is no more info as to why, how they met or what occurred that night- that I could find. Without more concrete evidence I’m a bit suspicious of the verdict, personally. His DNA was found on a bottle NEAR her car, which could’ve been trash he threw out. I still find the boyfriend to be highly suspicious too. He seemed like he wanted to smile multiple times throughout this interview and at horrible times where it was obvious he was lying. I still think he knows a lot more than he’s admitting to. I hope police have the right guy!

That attorney is incorrect, you cannot talk to a minor without representation such as their parents or an attorney. It doesn't matter if she did it voluntarily or whether she was a suspect or not. This case absolutely should be examined by the Supreme Court

I don't blame the detectives for not buying the story because even me as a non-detective do not buy this story. Looks like the two ladies committed the crime and were trying to find ways to explain why their fingerprints were found on the purse and broken pots. Makes no sense that she went into her purse to look for a pen to write down what to say.. I mean, what she had to say wasn't that bulky to be written. It was just for her to say where they were at the time of the murder and such details don't need to be penned down. Bullshit story.

All the ppl saying she is a liar so that makes her guilty, since when do people get capitol murder charges for lying? If she committed this murder which we all know she didn't, why was it so hard for the police to do even a basic investigation? Your opinion on what she should or should not have done does not matter. This is someone's life and the purpose of a trial is to provide clear evidence beyond a reasonable doubt! Anyone who says this case was handled correctly is just as big a liar as she is. I'm not saying she is innocent of everything but there is not one piece of evidence that proves she is guilty of murder.

He is so gross. The only reason she was with him was because she felt insecure and wanted to be validated for being pretty and this was the person she ended up with. This is so sad. Her parents failed her. You can tell she had a lot of potential but childhood trauma is difficult to deal with, especially when you’re so young. I hope her killers are found and everyone involved gets their karma.
